Software Engineer - E2E Autonomy
Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join our End-to-End (E2E) Autonomy team in Sunnyvale, California. In this role, you will collaborate with AI research and engineering teams to develop and productionize next-generation self-driving software. As a Software Engineer on the E2E Autonomy team, you will build tools and infrastructure to support large-scale E2E autonomy research. Your responsibilities will include managing extensive datasets, scaling end-to-end training by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and working with technologies such as Python, PyTorch, CUDA, Bazel, Kubernetes, Spark, and Flyte.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional software engineering experience with a desire to contribute across the machine learning stack, both onboard the vehicle and in the cloud. Strong fundamental skills in software and module design are essential, along with rapid analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with multi-language build systems, distributed systems and compute (e.g., Kubernetes, cloud-managed services at scale), and fluency in machine learning infrastructure are highly desirable.
Applied Intuition offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $153,000 to $222,000 annually, equity options, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
