Software Engineer - Insights Platform

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Insights Platform team in Sunnyvale, California. This team is responsible for developing the data and analytics layer that underpins Applied Intuition's suite of physical AI development tools. In this role, the engineer will work across the full stack to develop and maintain systems for data ingestion, query infrastructure, data discoverability, dataset management, and analytics. Key responsibilities include ensuring the correctness and reliability of data ingestion processes, optimizing query performance, developing domain-specific visualizations, and building architectures that enable AI-driven analytics through natural language interactions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industry experience in building production data infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems. Proficiency in large-scale data processing and query execution is essential, along with strong backend engineering fundamentals, including API design, service reliability, and query optimization.
