Software Engineer - Latam
As a Software Engineer at Bitso, you will be an integral part of the Mercury Team, focusing on developing and enhancing our core services within the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem. Bitso is a leading cryptocurrency platform in Latin America, committed to providing secure and intuitive financial products to over 9 million users.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications. Your day-to-day activities will include writing efficient, high-performance code, conducting comprehensive software tests, performing code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet the demands of our growing user base.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer or similar role, with strong proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring. A solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, experience with continuous integration and deployment, containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and familiarity with cloud architectures and microservices are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
