Software Engineer (Network), Intelligence Systems
Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Intelligence Systems team in Reston, Virginia. This role involves developing networked applications across a range of projects, from full-stack enterprise software to user-facing applications on embedded and custom hardware devices. The position focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying systems that utilize both commercial and custom networking and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on security.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with project managers to write software for full-stack and user-facing applications, maintaining and updating existing software systems, and rapidly learning new software and networking technologies. The engineer will also be responsible for developing network data transport technologies and pipelines, building with custom and commercial components, and creating network capture, testing, and analysis systems to verify and validate security assumptions. Adherence to software best practices, including code reviews and testing, is essential.
Candidates must possess a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, along with at least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development and 3 years in developing networked systems, cloud infrastructure, or secure communication systems. Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and C# is required, as well as experience working in constrained development environments, including air-gapped systems. An active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is mandatory.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
