Software Engineer - Over-the-Air Updates
As a Software Engineer specializing in Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates at Applied Intuition, you will be instrumental in developing advanced remote software update systems. These systems facilitate the seamless deployment of firmware, applications, and configuration updates to connected devices on a large scale. Applied Intuition is a leader in vehicle intelligence, providing essential tools and operating systems that drive automation and autonomy across various industries.
In this role, you will design and develop scalable OTA update platforms that process and distribute software packages, firmware updates, and configuration changes to extensive fleets of connected devices. Your work will involve utilizing modern cloud-native architectures in C++ and Go. Additionally, you will architect and implement secure update delivery pipelines employing technologies such as cryptographic signing, encrypted communication channels, and authentication systems to ensure update integrity and prevent unauthorized modifications.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in distributed systems development, with strong proficiency in C++ and Go, and a background in building scalable cloud-native applications. Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices, including AWS, Azure, or GCP services, along with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization technologies, is essential. Knowledge of secure software deployment, including cryptographic signing, certificate management, and encrypted communication protocols, is also required.
Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $183,000 to $253,000 annually, along with equity options and comprehensive benefits.
