Software Engineer - Systems Engineering AI Tooling
Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Systems Engineering AI Tooling team. In this role, you will design and develop scalable internal tools and AI workflows that support system engineering and validation for autonomous vehicle programs. Our company specializes in creating digital infrastructure for autonomous systems across various industries, including automotive, defense, and agriculture.
Your primary responsibilities will include integrating data across requirements management, modeling, and validation tools to provide end-to-end traceability from system requirements to test results. You will build backend services and APIs to unify distributed engineering artifacts into a cohesive, reliable platform. Additionally, you will develop dashboards and KPIs to measure requirement coverage, trace completeness, and validation progress.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in backend software development, internal tooling, or platform engineering is required. Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java or C/C++ are essential. Experience designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs, as well as expertise in data modeling, schema design, and integrating systems via APIs, are also necessary.
Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $125,000 to $185,000 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.
