In this position, you will design and develop scalable telematics backend systems capable of processing high-volume, real-time telemetry data streams from millions of connected devices using modern microservices architecture. Your responsibilities will include architecting and implementing robust data processing pipelines utilizing technologies like Apache Kafka and Apache Spark, developing cloud-based data storage and analytics solutions, and implementing device-to-device communication systems to enhance network efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, DevOps engineers, product managers, and frontend developers, will be essential to deliver comprehensive telematics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in backend software development with strong proficiency in languages such as Go, C++, or Python, and experience with cloud-native application development. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, is required. Additionally, knowledge of data processing and streaming technologies, experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, and an understanding of API design and development are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-availability cloud development environments are also important.
Applied Intuition offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $183,000 to $253,000 annually, equity options, and comprehensive benefits.
