Software Engineer VI

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer VI to lead the development of real-time embedded systems for aerospace and defense applications. This senior role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-reliability control solutions compliant with aerospace and defense standards.

Key responsibilities include defining software requirements, developing low-level drivers and real-time control software, and implementing embedded communication interfaces such as RS-422. The engineer will also integrate software with instrumentation systems, lead design reviews, and ensure compliance with standards like DO-178C and MIL-STD-498.

Candidates must have over 15 years of experience in embedded software development within aerospace or defense sectors, with proficiency in C/C++ and real-time control systems. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field is required.
