Solution Engineer
The Solution Engineer role at Applied Intuition involves assisting customers in resolving complex technical challenges related to the company's Vehicle Intelligence products. This position requires a blend of software expertise, domain knowledge, and an execution-driven mindset. The engineer will collaborate closely with vehicle and autonomy software developers to ensure that Applied Intuition's platform solutions effectively advance customers' Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and end-to-end AD/ADAS initiatives.
Key responsibilities include acting as the technical liaison between automotive customers and Applied Intuition's engineering teams, supporting Vehicle OS engagements by translating customer requirements into technical solutions, leading technical discussions, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects during early deployments, and tracking project milestones while organizing technical meetings to ensure the progression of high-impact customer engagements.
The ideal candidate will have over two years of industry experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers, possess acute attention to detail with an execution-focused mindset, demonstrate strong communication skills with a focus on solving customer problems, have experience interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or developer, and exhibit project management experience in complex projects. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
Preferred qualifications include prior work in vehicle development, E/E architecture, or embedded software domains, familiarity with the vehicle development process and functional safety practices, professional experience in software development and coding, experience in embedded software development, and fluency in Korean or Japanese.
Compensation for this full-time position in Sunnyvale, California, includes a base salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits. Applied Intuition offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
