Solution Sales Executive
The Solution Sales Executive at Diligent Corporation is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth across existing and new accounts for Diligent’s solutions. Operating as a European overlay specialist, this position concentrates on the Office of the CISO, aiming to expand cross-sell opportunities within IT and Third-Party Risk solutions. The role involves close collaboration with Account Managers to strategize and execute complex sales cycles, primarily targeting enterprise and upper mid-market customers across Europe, excluding the UK, France, BeNeLux, and the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities include leading sales cycles with CISOs, CIOs, and senior IT Risk and InfoSec stakeholders, developing compelling business cases aligned with regulatory drivers such as NIS2, DORA, and ISO 27001, and managing complex enterprise sales cycles using the MEDDICC methodology. The executive is also expected to partner with Account Managers to develop expansion strategies, maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting, and support regional pipeline development initiatives.
The ideal candidate possesses 7–10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of success selling into CISOs or senior IT Risk and InfoSec stakeholders. Preferred experience includes Third-Party Risk, IT GRC, Cyber Risk, Operational Resilience, or Vendor Risk solutions. Demonstrated success in closing $50K+ ARR enterprise opportunities, strong executive presence, financial acumen, and experience operating in overlay or matrix sales environments are also essential. Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
