Solutions Architect, Startup & SMB (German-speaking)
Stripe is seeking a German-speaking Solutions Architect to join our Solutions Architecture team, focusing on startups and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). In this role, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to understand and address the technical requirements of our users, aligning them with Stripe's financial infrastructure solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Stripe's mission of increasing the GDP of the internet by enabling businesses to accept payments, grow revenue, and explore new opportunities.
As a Solutions Architect, your primary responsibilities will include engaging with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical stakeholders to share technology roadmaps and demonstrate Stripe's latest innovations. You will lead technical discussions and deep dives to showcase the value Stripe can provide, advocate for customer needs internally to influence product direction, and participate in quarterly business reviews to identify new opportunities. Additionally, you will create technical content such as reference architectures and demos, and represent Stripe as a thought leader at industry conferences.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in roles such as pre-sales, technical architecture, technical consulting, application delivery, or technical engineering, with at least one year in a customer-facing pre-sales role. Strong technical knowledge in software architecture, proficiency in writing code, and experience working with large enterprise customers are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English are required. A background in payment systems and e-commerce solutions is advantageous but not mandatory.
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €86,400 to €129,600. This range may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and specific location. Additional compensation may include equity, company bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
