Solutions Consultant
As a Solutions Consultant at Payhawk, you will be integral to our Solutions Engineering team, collaborating closely with our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to drive new customer acquisition and expand existing customer relationships. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in product and accounting systems to understand and address the unique business requirements of our prospects. This position offers an opportunity to work with a leading AI-powered spend management platform, serving finance teams across over 32 countries.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a deep understanding of all Payhawk product offerings, participating in Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and delivering personalized live product demonstrations tailored to complex use cases. You will also design, validate, and document product configurations and implementation strategies for prospective customers, provide accounting and accounting system expertise, and collaborate with Sales teams to drive new business revenue. Additionally, you will work with the local marketing team at marketing events and support content reviews, while collecting and analyzing feedback from prospective customers to inform product development.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an ERP implementation role or a similar finance role, such as Financial Controller or Head of Finance. Proficiency in SAP is required, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in both pre-sales and implementation phases is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, and interpersonal abilities are essential. Fluency in German is required, and the ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environments, and introduce new concepts to solve problems is crucial. Comfort in a fast-paced, fluid environment and a passion for problem-solving are also important.
