Solutions Engineer II, Commercial (CLEAR1 - B2B)
As a Solutions Engineer II, Commercial at CLEAR, you will lead successful integrations with the CLEAR1 platform, partnering closely with our commercial clients. You will collaborate with Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to deeply understand client challenges and shape how we scale and evolve the platform. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact both customer and developer experiences within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing code samples, integrations, and applications to demonstrate best practices and minimize customer development time across various languages and frameworks. You will drive client integration for enterprise-level clients by building reference applications, prototypes, and architecture diagrams. Additionally, you will create repeatable processes to drive client adoption of the CLEAR1 platform and support customers throughout the presales, onboarding, and integration process by assisting with common coding issues and troubleshooting. Maintaining public and internal documentation to help scale the team and acting as the internal and external expert in the integration and usage of the CLEAR identity platform are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solution Engineering, Presales Consulting, or Solutions Consulting role, with at least 2 years of technology experience in security, fraud, identity, financial (fintech), or government (GovTech) sectors. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (CS/CE/IE/EE/ME) or equivalent experience in a Software Development or Technical Sales role is required. Excellent development experience with one or more full-stack technologies, including web or mobile front-end and supporting back-end(s), is essential. A demonstrable understanding of the full software development lifecycle, common application architecture patterns, and experience with developer tooling is also necessary. Proficiency in working with APIs, as well as web and mobile technologies, and excellent communication skills to distill complex technical details into simple terms are crucial for success in this role.

The base salary range for this role is $140,000-$170,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.
