Solutions Engineer / Pre Sales Consultant (Risk & Audit)
Diligent Corporation is seeking a Solutions Engineer / Pre Sales Consultant specializing in Risk & Audit to join our team in London, England. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in Risk, Audit, or Compliance who are passionate about collaborating with clients, addressing complex challenges, and delivering impactful solutions within a commercial setting. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to demonstrate how our platform can transform their risk and audit management processes.
In this position, you will partner with the Sales team throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, assisting clients in understanding how Diligent's solutions address real-world risk and audit challenges. Your responsibilities will include delivering tailored software demonstrations that emphasize business value, engaging confidently with senior leaders across various functions, and translating client pain points into clear solution narratives to support deal progression.
Key responsibilities also encompass designing and presenting solution architectures aligned with client objectives and regulatory requirements, articulating the cross-platform value of the Diligent Platform, and collaborating with Product teams to provide customer and domain feedback on product enhancements. Additionally, you will support marketing initiatives such as webinars, industry events, and thought-leadership content.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Risk, Audit, Compliance, or GRC, either in a customer-facing role or within the industry. Experience with SaaS solutions or a strong interest in transitioning to a commercial, customer-facing environment is essential. Strong presentation and communication skills, the ability to simplify complex topics, and a collaborative approach to partnering with Sales are crucial. A curious, self-driven mindset with a commitment to continuously deepening both technical and domain knowledge is highly valued.
