Sourcing Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role focuses on developing strategic supply networks and managing costs for our product hardware throughout their lifecycles. The Sourcing Engineer will collaborate closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to support the advancement of our Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
Key responsibilities include selecting suppliers for specific products using our approved supplier list, partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, and driving the development and consolidation of manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs). The Sourcing Engineer will also manage capital expenditures throughout new product introductions, conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, and ensure completion of all component qualifications ahead of production.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices. A bachelor's degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or a related technical field is required, with an advanced technical degree or MBA preferred. Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance are also necessary.
The salary range for this position is $129,000 to $171,000 annually.
