In this position, the Specialist Solutions Architect will lead in-depth product discussions with top users and prospects, focusing on Stripe's Money Management products, including Stripe Capital, Issuing, Financial Accounts, and the global Payouts suite. The role involves educating product and engineering teams on market trends and significantly influencing the product roadmap to establish Stripe as the primary platform for merchants to manage their businesses.
Key responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert on Stripe’s Money Management products to accelerate opportunities, demonstrating a deep understanding of embedded finance applications, consulting with users on various embedded finance use cases, understanding compliance requirements, defining and sharing best practices, creating reference architectures, partnering closely with the Money Management product sales team, serving as the 'Voice of the Customer' internally, providing insights on emerging technologies, understanding the sales process, staying current on competitive analysis, and supporting marketing events.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of technical sales experience, preferably within a fintech company, and at least three years of product experience with embedded finance solutions such as card issuing, lending, or treasury management. Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs into web applications, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for learning and researching emerging products, and the ability to build strong collaborative relationships are essential. The candidate should also be adept at navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
