Sr. Automation and Robotics Integration Specialist
Anduril Industries is seeking a Sr. Automation and Robotics Integration Specialist to join its Manufacturing Technology Team, specifically within the Maritime division. This team is responsible for rapidly developing and implementing manufacturing materials, technologies, and processes for cutting-edge defense hardware, including deployable static and moving surface, undersea, and sea-to-air vehicles, and scaling these products in new manufacturing facilities.
In this role, the specialist will integrate robotic welding systems to drive efficient, rapid, and on-time production and start-up of production builds for new maritime vehicles. Responsibilities include automating and innovating industry-leading robotic applications for new welding processes, creating cost- and schedule-effective solutions in product and production system design, supporting the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of production systems at new factory sites, providing technical feedback on product processes, materials, and technologies, and collaborating with various teams to deliver effective production system solutions.
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience setting up, integrating, and troubleshooting automated robotic systems to support process technology development, manufacturing engineering, and/or production/process engineering. Required qualifications include technology development experience in robotics, automation, end effector design, and process improvement, as well as the ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment alongside operations and manufacturing engineering to understand and optimize the production system. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
The position offers a salary range of $129,000 to $171,000 USD, with actual offers varying based on factors such as work experience, education, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most full-time offers.
