The Senior Data Operations Associate – Integrations at PitchBook Data plays a pivotal role within the Data Operations team, focusing on executing and scaling high-impact third-party data integrations that enhance internal initiatives and product experiences. This position is integral to maintaining the company's commitment to delivering high-quality private market data to a diverse clientele.
Key responsibilities include leading the due diligence process for new third-party data vendors, encompassing data assessments, API testing, coverage analysis, and quality evaluation. The role involves managing vendor performance through structured reporting, communication, and issue resolution workflows. Additionally, the associate will collaborate with Product and Data Operations stakeholders to align on schema expectations, ingestion methods, scope, and success criteria, while partnering with engineering teams to support ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant experience in data operations, data integration, analytics, or vendor management. A strong understanding of relational databases, schema design, and data pipelines is essential. Proficiency in SQL and Python, particularly in working with APIs and structured data formats, is required. Experience with performance or quality reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary of $72,000 per year, with a target annual bonus percentage of 7.5%.
