Sr. Director & Head of Architecture
G-P is seeking a visionary Sr. Director & Head of Architecture to lead the technical strategy for its global products and AI platforms. This executive role bridges engineering execution with business objectives, overseeing the evolution of a scalable, secure, and AI-infused cloud-native ecosystem. The position reports directly to the Head of Engineering and involves close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering teams to harmonize technology decisions across the organization.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing a target-state, AI-native architecture that supports core software services and advanced AI behaviors. The role also involves establishing global standards for architectural consistency, overseeing the design of complex AI systems, and ensuring integration into a cohesive strategy. Additional duties encompass leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of architects, defining standards for software platform security and compliance, and introducing new technologies to maintain industry leadership.
Candidates should have over 15 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing architecture teams. A proven track record in designing and deploying distributed, cloud-native architectures, particularly on AWS, is essential. Experience in building AI-native products and technologies, strategic communication skills, and the ability to lead digital transformations in rapidly growing environments are also required. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
