Sr. Director of Sales
The Sr. Director of Sales at Boingo Wireless will lead the expansion of the company's Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Wi-Fi, and Private Networks, with a primary focus on DAS. This role is pivotal in securing and maintaining multi-year contracts with large venues in the Southeast Region, such as airports, stadiums, arenas, national retail centers, and hospitals. Boingo Wireless is a leading provider of indoor wireless solutions, committed to connecting people, businesses, and devices through innovative technologies.
Key responsibilities include executing marketing and sales strategies to secure wireless infrastructure rights, assessing the business, financial, and strategic viability of opportunities, and implementing sales forecasting and pipeline management. The Sr. Director will identify and qualify prospects through research, calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings, facilitate executive-level conversations, and act as the regional business development lead.
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in complex, solution-based sales environments, with a proven track record of closing large deals valued at $1 million or more. Essential skills include the ability to negotiate and execute contracts by leveraging cross-functional resources, critical thinking, and analytical abilities. A willingness to travel at least 50% of the time is required.
