Sr. Manager, FP&A

Archer, an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead the financial planning and budgeting for its Engineering organization. Archer is dedicated to advancing sustainable air mobility by designing and operating all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that can carry four passengers with minimal noise.

In this role, the Senior Manager will collaborate with senior management and business groups to design, track, and measure annual operating and financial plans. Responsibilities include refining data systems and tools to track performance, providing reporting solutions, and enhancing operational insights. The position also involves creating and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance against financial objectives and developing executive reporting documents for internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in finance or a related field, with at least two years leading a finance team with direct reports. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting is required, with an MBA strongly preferred. Experience supporting R&D, Engineering, or Product Development teams in a manufacturing environment is essential. Proficiency with FP&A software tools such as Adaptive Planning and ERP systems like SAP is necessary, along with exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Archer offers a competitive base salary ranging from $163,000 to $204,000, determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
