Archer is seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to create high-quality video content for aviation operations, marketing, training, and corporate communications. This senior-level role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling and visual content, with a comprehensive understanding of the video production process, including ideation, animation, and editing. The position is based in-person at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, CA, and the Design Studio in Mountain View, CA.

The Senior Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for delivering motion-first visual storytelling across Archer’s brand, marketing, and communications. Key duties include designing and delivering high-impact motion and static graphics for digital campaigns, social media, web, email, video, and out-of-home platforms. The role involves executing end-to-end processes from concepting, design, animation, motion graphic editing, to final delivery. Collaboration with the Design team to maintain brand expression and visual standards, as well as working with video, audio, and VFX contributors to produce polished, cinematic work, is essential.

Candidates must have over seven years of experience in motion design and graphic design, preferably in brand or marketing contexts. Proficiency in animating type and graphics for short-form and campaign work is required, along with expert command of typography, layout, color, and visual systems. A strong demo reel and portfolio showcasing brand systems, marketing campaigns, motion graphics, and video work is necessary. The ability to take direction and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, along with proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop, is expected. Clear communication skills to take direction, push ideas forward, and elevate the creative bar are also important.

Archer offers a competitive base pay range of $163,500 to $204,400 for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
