Sr. Network Security Engineer

As a Senior Network Security Engineer at Kaseya, you will be an integral part of the Network Security team, responsible for proactively managing and monitoring the company's infrastructure and cloud computing services. This role emphasizes network security and involves close collaboration with the Information Security team to address tasks such as vulnerability management. Kaseya is a leading provider of IT infrastructure and security management solutions, serving customers in over 20 countries and managing more than 15 million endpoints worldwide.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include researching, evaluating, developing, and implementing security solutions and standards that align with industry best practices. You will ensure that technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives. Additionally, you will maintain and operate toolsets and services that support network security operations, collaborate with other teams to design and implement enterprise security solutions, and perform security audits and testing to evaluate system configurations for compliance and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in network security processes, policies, and solutions. Extensive hands-on experience with firewalls, particularly Palo Alto and PANW cloud services, is essential. A strong understanding of networking principles, network protocols, packet inspection methodologies, and current security threats is required. Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python, and experience with Cisco routers and switches are also important. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for success in this role.
