Sr. Partnerships Manager
The Senior Partnerships Manager at PitchBook Data plays a pivotal role in establishing and managing third-party relationships that align with the company's strategic priorities. This position is integral to extending PitchBook's market reach, enhancing client workflows, enriching original data and research with differentiated content, and identifying strategic investment opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with various internal teams, including Segments & Solutions, Direct Data, Product, Data Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Research, RevOps, Legal, and Finance, to execute partnership opportunities that drive business growth.
Key responsibilities include leading partner sourcing efforts by identifying and evaluating new data, research, and capability providers that align with business needs. The Senior Partnerships Manager is tasked with managing ongoing relationships with key partners, ensuring service quality and contract compliance, and proactively identifying opportunities for partnership expansion. The role also involves overseeing contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams, as well as monitoring partner performance and usage metrics to inform renewal decisions and identify optimization opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have over seven years of experience in account management and/or business development, particularly within the financial services sector. Experience working with clients in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Limited Partners is beneficial. Domain expertise in areas such as Funds & Benchmarking, Credit, or Equity Research is preferred. The role requires exceptional customer-facing skills, the ability to gather and distill information from various sources to form strategic recommendations, and superior cross-team collaboration abilities. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and the capacity to quickly adapt to new systems and software are also essential.
Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000, with a target annual bonus percentage of 10%.
