Sr. Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer at PitchBook, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience for our Core Platform Communications. This role focuses on enhancing how users engage with our platform, ensuring that private equity and investment professionals remain informed and connected through intuitive design solutions. In this position, you will lead the design and optimization of engagement tools such as alerts, notifications, messaging, and download experiences. Your work will transform one-time interactions into ongoing engagement, keeping users connected to critical insights and opportunities even when they are not actively using the platform. By delivering timely and relevant information, you will help users work more efficiently and feel continuously supported by our product.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in user-centered design and systems thinking, with a proven ability to create solutions for complex data and user workflow challenges. Experience in conducting user research and data analysis to understand user needs and behaviors is essential. Strong collaboration skills are required to work effectively with product management and engineering teams, translating abstract concepts into simple, elegant, and innovative designs. Familiarity with machine learning and AI capabilities to enhance user engagement is a plus.
