Sr. Reliability Test Engineer
Harbinger Motors Inc., an American commercial electric vehicle company, is seeking a Senior Reliability Test Engineer to join their Test Engineering team in Garden Grove, California. This team is responsible for validation and reliability testing at the vehicle, sub-system, and component levels, ensuring the durability and performance of Harbinger's innovative EV platforms.
The Senior Reliability Test Engineer will collaborate closely with product design engineers to develop and execute reliability test plans, perform reliability calculations, and lead accelerated lifecycle tests. Responsibilities include conducting root cause analyses of test and field failures, supporting cross-functional Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) sessions, and developing in-house test infrastructure. The role also involves training personnel on complex test systems and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols during testing.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Material Science, with at least 5 years of industry experience in reliability engineering. Proficiency in reliability calculations, hands-on testing of PCBAs, batteries, or thermal systems, and experience with coding languages such as Python or Matlab for data analysis are required. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with EV powertrain architecture and high-voltage devices, experience in data analytics related to product reliability, and high-voltage testing expertise.
