Sr. Software Engineer, AI
NinjaTrader is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence to drive the integration of AI technologies across various departments, including Engineering, Operations, Customer Experience, Data, and Finance. This role involves developing AI infrastructure aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will design and implement multi-step agentic workflows using Python and TypeScript, develop production-level applications utilizing large language models (LLMs) from providers like Anthropic and OpenAI, and build and maintain retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. Responsibilities also include establishing evaluation protocols, optimizing costs and latency, creating connectors for internal tools and APIs, and managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Applicants should possess a strong background in AI and software engineering, with proficiency in Python and TypeScript. Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and developing RAG pipelines is essential. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly GCP, and expertise in building and maintaining APIs and data pipelines are also required. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are crucial.
NinjaTrader offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 to $190,000 annually, with an additional target bonus of 12%.
