Sr. Software Engineer II, Fullstack - NT Connect
NinjaTrader is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join the NT Connect team, focusing on developing and enhancing our API-based brokerage integration layer. This role involves designing and building services, APIs, and developer experiences that facilitate seamless connections with introducing brokers, fintech partners, and third-party platforms. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to creating a scalable, secure, and high-throughput platform that directly impacts partner outcomes and trading experiences.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining NT Connect's web-based platform across the full stack. Your tasks will include designing and implementing efficient backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, deployed on cloud-based infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes into high-quality frontend code, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems. Additionally, you will develop real-time performance monitoring and logging solutions to maintain platform responsiveness and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end partner solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with over eight years of professional software development experience. Strong backend engineering skills with Node.js and TypeScript are essential, including experience in building production-grade APIs and authentication flows. Proficiency in designing RESTful and WebSocket APIs for external partners or B2B platforms is required. Additionally, strong frontend engineering skills with a modern framework, preferably React, and the ability to deliver complex, data-driven UIs are necessary.
NinjaTrader offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $190,000 USD for this role, with an annual target bonus of 12%. The compensation package includes a 401K plan with a 3.5% company match, generous paid time off, and comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage.
