Sr. Staff Survivability and Operations Analysis Engineer
Archer is seeking a Senior Staff Survivability and Operations Analysis Engineer to join our Defense and Advanced Programs team. This role involves leading the development and execution of advanced programs focused on enhancing the survivability and operational effectiveness of our all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to revolutionize sustainable air mobility.
In this position, you will be responsible for incubating, marketing, capturing, and executing advanced programs within the Archer Defense portfolio. Your day-to-day activities will include designing, analyzing, fabricating, and testing survivability technologies such as radar cross-section (RCS), infrared (IR) signatures, and acoustic properties. Additionally, you will conduct operations analysis using modeling and simulation environments like AFSIM, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines to ensure program success.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the aerospace or related field, with at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics; an advanced degree is preferred. Required expertise includes survivability technologies, aircraft survivability equipment (ASE), mission systems, and operations analysis. Proficiency in RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustic systems, sensors, communications, propulsion systems, CAD, Python, and MATLAB is essential. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are mandatory.
At Archer, we offer a competitive base salary ranging from $163,500 to $224,800, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
