Sr. Technical Program Manager
The Senior Technical Program Manager at PitchBook Data will lead the delivery of a high-impact initiative central to the company's growth strategy. This role involves driving cross-functional execution for a new deal sourcing product, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams to translate strategic vision into scalable, measurable outcomes. The position is based in Seattle, Washington.
Key responsibilities include driving end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives across various teams, aligning vision to execution, and ensuring successful delivery and market readiness. The role requires translating technical strategy into structured execution plans, defining milestones, deliverables, success metrics, resource needs, and measurable business outcomes. Additionally, the manager will identify and resolve execution roadblocks, surface risks early, challenge misaligned assumptions, clarify tradeoffs, and present solution paths that enable timely, well-informed leadership decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and over five years of experience in technical program management, leading complex, cross-functional software or platform initiatives. Strong technical fluency is essential, with the ability to engage in architecture and system design discussions and translate technical concepts into actionable plans. The role also demands excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
