Sr. Training Specialist
The Senior Training Specialist at PitchBook Data is a key member of the global Learning & Development team, focusing on new hire training and ongoing capability development for employees within the Commercial teams. This role is primarily responsible for facilitating high-impact training experiences, with a regional focus across London and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Singapore. The specialist plays a critical role in capturing and representing the Voice of the Customer (VoC) within these regions, ensuring that training programs are relevant, effective, and aligned with business priorities.
Key responsibilities include facilitating onboarding and ongoing training programs that support both new hires and tenured employees in building foundational knowledge and advancing skills over time. The specialist delivers engaging, high-quality training aligned to curriculum standards, learning objectives, and adult learning best practices. They create psychologically safe learning environments that encourage participation, discussion, and practical application, adapting facilitation approaches to regional, cultural, and audience contexts while maintaining global program standards.
The role requires conducting needs assessments, developing and maintaining learner profiles, consulting with leaders on upskilling priorities, and shadowing sales and customer service representatives to surface regional skill gaps and development needs. Insights gathered are synthesized and shared with the broader Learning team to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective. Additionally, the specialist manages and maintains training materials, tracks and reports on training program effectiveness, and contributes to iterative updates to training content and delivery methods based on learner feedback and performance signals.
