Staff Architect, Manufacturing Applications - (SJ2026KJ)

Archer, an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, is seeking a Staff Architect for Manufacturing Applications. The Staff Architect will collaborate with business process owners to understand and implement solutions that meet current and future manufacturing needs. Responsibilities include reviewing existing solutions, recommending improvements, and applying knowledge of aircraft assembly and manufacturing processes. The role involves configuring and customizing the SAP PP-PEO module, enhancing functionality, developing new features, and integrating with other systems such as SCADA and Team Center. Additionally, the architect will develop interfaces to ensure data consistency, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. A minimum of 12 years of experience as an SAP Manufacturing Solution Architect, particularly with SAP S4 implementations in supply chain, product development, manufacturing, and distribution, is required. Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA, PP-Production Planning, MM-Materials Management, QM-Quality Management, MES, Coupa (or similar), SAP CIG, MuleSoft (or similar), and EDI is essential. The position requires 25% domestic travel.
