Staff Attorney
Keller Postman is seeking a diligent, team-oriented Staff Attorney with substantial litigation experience and a strong emphasis on legal writing. This non-partner track role is ideal for an attorney who excels in drafting, analyzing, and refining complex legal documents in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. The Staff Attorney will play a critical role in producing high-quality written work to support case strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities include drafting, revising, and finalizing complex legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery with precision and clarity. The attorney will collaborate closely with partners and associates to develop written legal arguments and case strategies, conduct in-depth legal research, and translate findings into persuasive, well-structured written analyses. Additional duties involve preparing memoranda, drafting client communications, assisting with fact development, and ensuring all written work complies with applicable federal and state procedural rules and court requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated strength in legal writing, editing, and written advocacy, with experience drafting complex litigation documents across multiple jurisdictions. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and research skills, and the ability to manage multiple writing assignments under tight deadlines are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, have at least three years of litigation experience with a focus on legal drafting and writing, and be an active member in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
This remote position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 per year, plus a year-end discretionary bonus and benefits.
