Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to join their Intelligence Systems team in Reston, Virginia. This role involves developing software across the entire hardware and software stack, including firmware, middleware, and custom network stacks. The Intelligence Systems team focuses on delivering advanced capabilities to the Intelligence Community, addressing critical national security requirements.

Key responsibilities include writing software for custom embedded systems, working across various levels of the hardware/software stack, and maintaining existing software systems. The engineer will provide technical leadership, design software architectures, and ensure adherence to best practices such as coding standards and code reviews. Collaboration with project managers and other engineering teams is essential to meet program deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.

Candidates must have over 12 years of software development experience, with at least 7 years in bare metal and driver development. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required, with a focus on embedded software systems. Experience with Xilinx platforms, working in constrained development environments, and building low-level embedded software solutions is essential. The ability to quickly understand complex systems and implement certification requirements is also necessary. An active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance is required.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $292,000, along with comprehensive benefits.
