Archer is seeking a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of its internal tooling ecosystem. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency of various teams, from Hardware Engineers analyzing flight data to Talent Acquisition scaling the workforce. The position is based in San Jose, California, and offers an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of sustainable air mobility.

The successful candidate will develop scalable full-stack web applications to support engineering, operations, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying and maintaining custom tools to automate workflows, collaborating with the Data team to build web applications for complex data reviews post-flight tests, and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for secure hosting of internal tools. Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining internal AI assistants and mentoring a team of engineers deploying custom internal tools.

Candidates should possess at least 4 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. Strong proficiency in the React ecosystem, modern CSS frameworks, and backend development with RESTful APIs and scalable containerized applications is required. Expertise in cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, experience in designing data models for complex applications, and hands-on experience integrating Generative AI via API are also essential. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams are crucial.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $163,200 to $204,000 annually, determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
