Staff iOS Engineer
CLEAR is seeking an experienced Staff iOS Engineer to join our Members organization, focusing on enhancing the CLEAR Mobile app. This role involves close collaboration with various engineering and product teams to build consumer experiences that leverage our secure identity platform, aiming to make everyday interactions safer and more seamless.
As a Staff iOS Engineer, you will be responsible for advancing our capabilities across multiple industries by developing and delivering code across the mobile stack. Your day-to-day work will include adhering to best practices in testing, documentation, and observability, partnering with product stakeholders to uncover requirements and solve complex problems, and contributing to architectural decision-making to continuously improve technology and processes at CLEAR.
The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of software development experience, with expertise in iOS application development using Swift and SwiftUI. Experience with collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like GitHub and the App Store is essential. Familiarity with agile development environments, the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a strong sense of ownership are also important. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, possess a curiosity about technology, and have the ability to work autonomously.
