Staff Network Engineer

Archer, an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join their team. The Staff Network Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting Archer's network infrastructure. Key duties include planning, designing, and implementing LAN/WAN solutions, including SD-WAN, aligning with information security strategies, troubleshooting network issues, coordinating with vendors, and creating and maintaining network documentation. The role also involves supporting compliance requirements and providing support for both office-based and remote personnel.

Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an enterprise-level environment supporting network infrastructure and hybrid environments. Required skills include experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall technologies, extensive knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, VLAN architecture with L3 technologies, and proficiency with Cisco, Ubiquiti, and HP/Aruba switching and wireless networking technologies. A solid understanding of BGP and OSPF routing, L2/L3 switching, and hands-on experience with network installation, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting are essential. Familiarity with monitoring software like LogicMonitor and excellent communication skills are also required. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience are preferred.
