Staff Product Manager, Compliance UX

Stripe is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Compliance UX to lead the development of products that assist platforms in navigating regulatory and compliance requirements. This role involves creating tools that clarify complex compliance workflows, enabling platforms to understand requirements, monitor progress, and take appropriate actions. Operating at a significant scale, the position requires collaboration with teams across Stripe, including Risk, Legal, Engineering, and Go-to-Market, to ensure platforms meet compliance obligations while maintaining user trust.

Key responsibilities include owning the vision and strategy for platform compliance experiences, identifying and addressing ambiguous problems, driving organizational clarity across various teams, designing scalable solutions across multiple regulatory regimes, and establishing feedback loops to assess product effectiveness. The role also involves acting as the voice of the platform in product decisions by synthesizing input from various stakeholders.

Candidates should have over 10 years of product management experience, with a proven track record in ambiguous environments, systems-level thinking, strong cross-functional leadership, excellent communication skills, and technical fluency. Preferred qualifications include experience building B2B products for platforms or marketplaces, familiarity with KYC/KYB, onboarding, or identity verification workflows, data-informed product development, and experience leading other product managers or cross-functional teams.
