Staff Program Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, Classified Programs
Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned Staff Program Manager to lead manufacturing engineering initiatives within classified programs. This pivotal role involves managing complex projects from concept through high-rate production, operating within stringent classified environments. The successful candidate will integrate manufacturing strategies with program objectives, schedules, and budgets to deliver optimal outcomes for both Anduril and its customers.
Key responsibilities include driving manufacturing engineering aspects through all phases, from conceptual design and prototyping to full-rate production. The role requires championing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles, collaborating with design teams to optimize product architecture for efficient production. Effective communication with engineers, program leadership, government customers, and cross-functional teams is essential, along with proactive risk assessment and mitigation.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, along with over 12 years of experience in operations program management, production, or manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace, or complex hardware industries. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, experience launching new products on condensed timelines, proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, and excellent problem-solving and leadership skills are required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and an active U.S. Secret security clearance are also necessary.
