Staff Program Manager, Product Operations
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Program Manager for Product Operations within its Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division. This role focuses on developing autonomous drones and solid rocket motors, transforming early concepts into fully operational capabilities. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and production teams to deliver advanced defense technologies.
The Staff Program Manager will lead the transition of products from development to high-rate production, emphasizing process optimization, operational excellence, and design for manufacturability. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving complex operational challenges, implementing continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, and managing cross-functional projects spanning engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and finance. The role also involves developing key performance indicators to monitor process health and proactively mitigating risks that could impact production scalability.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related technical field, along with at least five years of experience in program management, operations, or manufacturing within complex hardware industries such as defense, aerospace, or automotive. Required skills include expertise in process excellence and continuous improvement methodologies, a proven track record of leading products through the maturation lifecycle, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and leadership skills. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is also necessary.
The position offers a salary range of $165,000 to $218,000 USD annually, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as experience and education.
