Staff Research Scientist - Video & Audio Generative AI

As a Staff Research Scientist at Canva, you will lead the development of foundational models in video and audio generative AI, driving research that translates into scalable, impactful solutions. This role combines hands-on model development with strategic research leadership, positioning you at the forefront of AI innovation within the company.

Your primary responsibilities include leading high-impact research initiatives, designing and executing experiments to optimize model performance, and developing novel architectures and training methodologies. Experience in developing and deploying generative AI models for video synthesis and audio generation is essential, along with a strong publication record or demonstrated research impact in the industry.
