Staff RF Antenna Engineer, Electronic Warfare
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff RF Antenna Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare (EW) Radio Frequency Engineering team in Costa Mesa, California. This team is dedicated to advancing antenna and antenna array technologies, focusing on innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of defense technology. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing RF antennas and antenna arrays. Key tasks include conducting detailed RF designs, performing antenna element trade studies, optimizing array lattice selections, developing prototypes to validate models, and modeling PCB RF transitions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure project specifications are met and to drive the advancement of RF antenna projects within the EW team.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with over 10 years of experience in RF and antenna design. Required skills include expertise in RF hardware and component design, proficiency in all stages of RF hardware testing from laboratory to field, experience with test setup automation and data analysis, and familiarity with anechoic chamber and open-air testing. Knowledge of schematic capture, PCB design, and RF simulation tools is also necessary. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $191,000 to $253,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
