Staff Security Analyst, Insider Threat
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Security Analyst to join our Insider Threat team, dedicated to protecting our mission, people, and innovations. This role is integral to our proactive security efforts, focusing on insider threat detection, counterintelligence, and risk mitigation. By leveraging advanced technology and cross-functional collaboration, we aim to stay ahead of emerging threats in a rapidly evolving landscape.
The Staff Security Analyst will serve as the incident commander, identifying, triaging, investigating, and remediating insider threat-related security detections and anomalies. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end insider threat investigations, evaluating and implementing controls to reduce attack surfaces, producing metrics to streamline incident response, and providing strategic vision for threat identification. Collaboration with HR and Legal teams to provide technical expertise and evidence for investigations is also essential.
Candidates must be action-oriented with the ability to work autonomously and manage complex projects. Required qualifications include experience in data analysis within large-scale data lake environments, knowledge of modern adversary tradecraft and mitigating controls, and proven experience in insider threat investigations, digital forensics, and incident response. Proficiency with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and other telemetry sources is necessary. Excellent analytical skills and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance are also required.
The salary range for this position is $191,000 to $253,000 per year, with actual offers varying based on factors such as experience, education, and critical skills. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers.
