Staff Software Engineer - Architecture and Cloud Scale
LearnLux is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the architectural direction of our enterprise-grade SaaS platform as we scale globally. This role is pivotal in empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures by enhancing our financial wellbeing products. As part of a small, agile engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to influence both the technical architecture and the operational dynamics of the organization.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the transition from single-tenancy to multi-tenancy within our enterprise SaaS environment. Your day-to-day activities will include evolving our cloud infrastructure for global scalability, ensuring data isolation, and maintaining high reliability. You'll also focus on integrating AI infrastructure thoughtfully into the core platform, enhancing automation, and improving developer workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps will be a key aspect of your role.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in backend engineering, particularly in designing and evolving large-scale, distributed enterprise SaaS systems. Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and Python is essential, along with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, preferably on GCP. A deep understanding of security and compliance considerations in enterprise SaaS environments is required. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform, as well as familiarity with data platforms and pipelines, including BigQuery and Airflow, will be advantageous.
