Staff Software Engineer, Identity
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Security Engineering team, focusing on developing a modern identity platform that safeguards the infrastructure supporting their defense technology products. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's security framework, ensuring robust and scalable identity management solutions.
The primary responsibilities include building an identity engine that powers the entire company, creating applications to enforce the identity framework, developing integrations to unify identities across various platforms, and automating identity lifecycle operations such as provisioning, access reviews, and offboarding. Collaboration with other IAM engineers and partner teams to define architecture and deliver iterative solutions is also essential.
Candidates must possess strong programming skills in languages like Go or Rust, experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK, and familiarity with identity protocols like SAML, OIDC, SCIM, or OAuth. Proven ability to translate system design requirements into maintainable implementations, experience in architecture and design reviews, and proficiency with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines are required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance is also necessary.
