Staff Software Engineer, Identity
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Security Engineering team, focusing on developing a modern identity platform to safeguard the infrastructure supporting their defense technology products. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company's security framework and ensuring robust identity management across all systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building an identity engine that powers the entire company, creating applications that enforce the identity framework, and developing integrations to unify identities across various platforms, including identity providers, cloud services, SaaS tools, and internal systems. Additionally, the role involves automating identity lifecycle operations such as provisioning, access reviews, and offboarding, while collaborating with other IAM engineers and partner teams to define architecture and deliver iterative solutions.
Applicants should possess strong programming skills in one or more general-purpose languages, such as Go or Rust, and have experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK in a production environment. Familiarity with identity protocols, including SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and OAuth, as well as experience with identity providers like Okta or Azure AD, is essential.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $292,000 per year, along with highly competitive equity grants.
