Staff Software Engineer

Kaseya is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland. In this role, you will lead the design and development of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure supporting our large-scale data platform on AWS. As a key member of our engineering team, you will define architectural standards, ensure compliance with security requirements, and enable multiple teams to build and operate reliable, scalable data systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and evolving cloud infrastructure, developing and maintaining scalable backend services, and implementing real-time data ingestion pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align platform direction, drive adoption of best practices, and ensure the infrastructure supports high-volume data processing and analytics workloads.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services such as S3, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, and Redshift, along with strong experience in designing and operating large-scale data platforms. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, a solid understanding of distributed systems, and experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence architecture across teams are also required.
