Staff Software Engineer, New Products
As a Staff Software Engineer on the New Products team at Webflow, you will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Engineering teams to develop our next-generation platform. This role involves working across a robust ecosystem of tools and products to build a first-class customer experience. Webflow is a pioneer in the Website Experience Platform (WXP), redefining how teams build, manage, and optimize for the web by combining visual development, powerful content management systems, AI-driven personalization, seamless hosting, and end-to-end analytics in a single, unified platform.
In this position, you will be responsible for planning and building product capabilities that align with our Structure product goals. Your day-to-day work will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, effectively communicating team priorities and strategies, building, documenting, and testing production code that impacts all Webflow customers, and leading projects that directly contribute to the team's and engineering organization's deliverables. Additionally, you will participate in all engineering activities, including incident response, interviewing, designing and reviewing technical specifications, code review, and releasing new functionality.
The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and at least 7 years of experience shipping features and products, with a focus on web frameworks and products. You should have an innate interest in the Web Platform, Design Systems, and building platforms that enable customers. Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, framework development, and design systems is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack, and a proactive embrace of AI and emerging technologies are also important.

The base pay ranges for this role are structured into zones for various geographic markets, with specific base pay determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program, with target amounts varying by career level and payouts based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.
