Staff Software Engineer, Security
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in security to join the Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team. This team focuses on developing advanced aerial small drones and associated systems, transforming conceptual designs into operational products. The company is dedicated to enhancing U.S. and allied military capabilities through cutting-edge technology, including AI-powered operating systems that integrate multiple data streams into real-time command and control centers.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and advancing the security roadmap for TRS products and software services. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement security solutions that meet or exceed industry standards. Additionally, you will identify and address vulnerabilities in designs, implementations, integrations, and processes, as well as design and develop security software for embedded systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a strategic vision and technical depth in security architecture and implementation. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Rust, or Python is required. Experience in assessing and improving the security of firmware, applications, networks, IoT, or embedded systems is essential. Familiarity with anti-tamper and reverse engineering mechanisms, as well as experience in platform security engineering and secure software development lifecycle implementation, are also necessary. Strong communication skills and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance are mandatory.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $292,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
