Staff Software Engineer, Security
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Security to join the Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team. This team is responsible for developing aerial small drones and associated equipment, transforming concepts into operational systems. The company focuses on delivering advanced technology solutions to enhance U.S. and allied military capabilities.
In this role, you will own and enhance the security roadmap for TRS products and software services. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will design and implement solutions that exceed industry-standard security goals. Your responsibilities will include identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in designs, implementations, integrations, and processes, as well as developing embedded system security software.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision and technical depth in security architecture and implementation. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Rust, or Python is required. Experience assessing and improving the security of firmware, applications, networks, IoT, or embedded systems is essential. Familiarity with anti-tamper and reverse engineering mechanisms, as well as platform security engineering and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) implementation, is also necessary. Strong communication skills and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance are required.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $292,000 USD for this position.
